## About this task

This technology consulting firm (501–1,000 employees) is looking for a manager Supply Chain Analyst for an ongoing part-time engagement of 1–2 h a week. Demand, supply and gaps for the monthly meeting.

The company wants a senior person on this without carrying the cost of a full-time role. It is a consulting firm, so client deadlines set the pace and handover notes are expected.

The team sits in New York City. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. The work runs in two set slots a week, agreed with the team at the start. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (ET).

## What you deliver

- Prepare the monthly S&OP pack with demand plan, supply constraints and decisions.

- A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends

- A written update every Wednesday with what was done, what is next and anything blocked

- Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day

## What a week looks like

- Daily: one hour at a time that suits you, inside the agreed window

- Tuesday: ten-minute sync if anything is blocked

- Wednesday: weekly summary posted to the shared thread

**Duration:** 6 months, then month by month. Accepted after the walkthrough. Edits requested within three working days are part of the price.

## Tools

## Who fits

- 7-12 years of hands-on work as a Supply Chain Analyst, or the equivalent mix of roles

- Comfortable working in Excel and PowerPoint

- Your own work history stays private; the company sees a first name, your field and a rate

- On-call availability outside the agreed window

- Anything that needs a signature in your own name unless the brief says so

## How you get paid

- The company prepays Deftridge before your first hour, so payment does not depend on a late invoice.

- Deftridge pays you in USD after the company confirms the hours or the deliverable. The payment date is written in your task agreement.

- You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.

- You never chase the company. Questions about money go to Deftridge.
