## About this task

This freight and logistics company for retailers (51–200 employees) is looking for a specialist BI Analyst for a monthly bundle of recurring tasks, 20–30 h a month. Rebuilds reports in a new tool and checks numbers match.

The same kind of work comes back every month, so the company prefers one person with an hours cap over ad-hoc requests. It moves goods for customers, so the data is operational and updated daily.

The work is fully remote. Any location in United Kingdom works, with a few hours of overlap with the team's day. You choose your hours; nothing is scheduled except an occasional short call. About 1 hour a week should overlap with the team's day (UK time).

## What you deliver

- Migrate 25 Tableau workbooks to Power BI and reconcile each to the old numbers.

- A month-end summary with hours used against the cap

- A running log of open questions, reviewed at the start of each week

- The monthly list of items completed, each with a link to the result

## What a month looks like

- Start of month: the company shares the items and the priorities

- Mid-month: progress check of 15 minutes

- Month end: hours used against the cap, results and open items

**Duration:** 6 months, with a monthly hours cap. Accepted after the walkthrough. Edits requested within three working days are part of the price.

## Tools

Looker Power BI Tableau

## Who fits

- 2-5 years of hands-on work as a BI Analyst, or the equivalent mix of roles

- Comfortable working in Looker, Power BI and Tableau

- Your own work history stays private; the company sees a first name, your field and a rate

### Nice to have

- A habit of asking one clarifying question early rather than five late

- Comfortable explaining numbers or decisions to a non-specialist reader

## Not included

- On-call availability outside the agreed window

- Anything that needs a signature in your own name unless the brief says so

- Managing other contractors or employees

## How you get paid

- The company prepays Deftridge before your first hour, so payment does not depend on a late invoice.

- Deftridge pays you in GBP after the company confirms the hours or the deliverable. The payment date is written in your task agreement.

- You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.

- You never chase the company. Questions about money go to Deftridge.

## What happens after you say you're interested
