## About this task

This Public-sector services provider serving transport agencies (51–200 employees) is looking for a senior Product Marketing Manager for a single piece of work with a fixed scope and a fixed price. Marketing view of packaging and pricing options.

The company has a deadline, no one free to own it, and wants a person who has done the same job before. It supplies the public sector, so documentation follows contract rules.

The team sits in Cambridge. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. You choose your hours; nothing is scheduled except an occasional short call.

## What you deliver

- Write a recommendation on plan naming and feature split based on customer and competitor data.

- One round of edits after the company's review is included

- The finished deliverable in the agreed file format, with sources and assumptions listed

- A final note stating what was checked and what was left out of scope

## How the work runs

- Day 1: kickoff call and access to the files

- Days 2 to 6: the work, with questions answered the same day

- Last day: delivery and a short walkthrough

**Duration:** about 10 working days. Accepted when the company contact confirms the deliverable against the written checklist. One round of edits is included.

## Tools

## Who fits

- Managing other contractors or employees

## How you get paid

- The company prepays Deftridge before your first hour, so payment does not depend on a late invoice.

- Deftridge pays you in GBP after the company confirms the hours or the deliverable. The payment date is written in your task agreement.

- You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.

- You never chase the company. Questions about money go to Deftridge.
