## About this task

This Series A clinical data company for elder care (51–200 employees) is looking for a specialist Data Analyst for an ongoing part-time engagement of 1–2 h a week. A tracked set of operating metrics that stays current.

Workload peaks and dips, so a few fixed hours a week fit better than a full-time seat. It works in healthcare, so patient data is never part of the task and privacy rules are strict.

The work is fully remote, but the company can only contract people who live in Tennessee, so this one is for residents there. You choose your hours; nothing is scheduled except an occasional short call. About 1 hour a week should overlap with the team's day (ET).

## What you deliver

- Build and maintain a monthly KPI workbook for operations with automatic refreshes from the database.

- A short handover note when the engagement pauses or ends

- Work logged against the agreed list, so the company contact can see progress without a call

- Questions collected in one thread, answered within one working day

## What a week looks like

- Wednesday: pick up the queue and confirm priorities

- Midweek: two short working sessions of one to two hours

- Monday: update sent before the company's end of day

**Duration:** 16 weeks, renewable. Accepted when the output matches the agreed checklist and the sample check passes; the recruiter confirms by e-mail.

## Tools

## Who fits

- 2-5 years of hands-on work as a Data Analyst, or the equivalent mix of roles

- Comfortable working in Google Sheets, Excel and SQL

- Your own work history stays private; the company sees a first name, your field and a rate

### Nice to have

- A habit of asking one clarifying question early rather than five late

- Used to short written handovers

## Not included

- Work outside the scope written in the brief; extra items are quoted separately

- On-call availability outside the agreed window

- Managing other contractors or employees

## How you get paid

- The company prepays Deftridge before your first hour, so payment does not depend on a late invoice.

- Deftridge pays you in USD after the company confirms the hours or the deliverable. The payment date is written in your task agreement.

- You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.

- You never chase the company. Questions about money go to Deftridge.
