## About this task

This contract research organisation in vaccines (501–1,000 employees) is looking for a senior Commercial Contract Reviewer for a monthly bundle of recurring tasks, 10–24 h a month. Extracts key terms from many contracts into a table.

The same kind of work comes back every month, so the company prefers one person with an hours cap over ad-hoc requests. It works in life sciences, where documents are versioned and reviewed in a fixed order.

The work is fully remote. Any location in United Kingdom works, with a few hours of overlap with the team's day. Evenings or weekends are fine, as long as the agreed weekly output is there. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (UK time).

## What you deliver

- Abstract 80 customer contracts for term, renewal, liability cap and termination rights.

- The monthly list of items completed, each with a link to the result

- A month-end summary with hours used against the cap

- A running log of open questions, reviewed at the start of each week

## What a month looks like

- Week 1: intake call and a list of what is due this month

- Weeks 2 and 3: items completed in short sessions

- Week 4: month-end summary and the list for next month

**Duration:** 12 weeks, with a monthly hours cap. Accepted when the company contact confirms the deliverable against the written checklist. One round of edits is included.

## Tools

Ironclad Excel

## Who fits

- 5-10 years of hands-on work as a Commercial Contract Reviewer, or the equivalent mix of roles

- Comfortable working in Ironclad and Excel

- Admission to practise in England and Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland is required, and the sign-off on legal advice stays with the company's own counsel.

- Your own work history stays private; the company sees a first name, your field and a rate

### Nice to have

- A habit of asking one clarifying question early rather than five late

- Has worked with a distributed team across time zones

## Not included

- Travel or work at a fixed location

- Managing other contractors or employees

- A signature or opinion in your own name: sign-off stays with the company

## How you get paid

- The company prepays Deftridge before your first hour, so payment does not depend on a late invoice.

- Deftridge pays you in GBP after the company confirms the hours or the deliverable. The payment date is written in your task agreement.

- You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.

- You never chase the company. Questions about money go to Deftridge.

## What happens after you say you're interested

1. **Within one working day** A recruiter writes to you to confirm your hours and the rate you want.

1. **You agree the rate** You and the recruiter fix an exact rate inside the company's range. You decide whether to go ahead.

1. **With your written OK** The company sees the anonymous profile below. Most companies answer within three working days.

1. **Start** You sign the task agreement and the company's confidentiality terms through Deftridge, and begin on the date above.
