## About this task

This Series C digital wealth platform for nonprofits (201–500 employees) is looking for a senior Commercial Contract Reviewer for a monthly bundle of recurring tasks, 10–24 h a month. Extracts key terms from many contracts into a table.

The same kind of work comes back every month, so the company prefers one person with an hours cap over ad-hoc requests. It operates in regulated payments and lending, so a written trail for every decision matters.

The team sits in Brownsville. Everything can be done remotely; an occasional visit is welcome and never required for the first month. Evenings or weekends are fine, as long as the agreed weekly output is there. About 2 hours a week should overlap with the team's day (CT).

## What you deliver

- Abstract 80 customer contracts for term, renewal, liability cap and termination rights.

- A named list of items moved to next month, so nothing is lost

- A running log of open questions, reviewed at the start of each week

- A month-end summary with hours used against the cap

## What a month looks like

- Start of month: the company shares the items and the priorities

- Mid-month: progress check of 15 minutes

- Month end: hours used against the cap, results and open items

**Duration:** 6 months, with a monthly hours cap. Accepted when the company contact confirms the deliverable against the written checklist. One round of edits is included.

## Tools

Ironclad Excel

## Who fits

- 5-10 years of hands-on work as a Commercial Contract Reviewer, or the equivalent mix of roles

- Comfortable working in Ironclad and Excel

- Admission to practise in Texas is required, and the sign-off on legal advice stays with the company's own counsel.

- Your own work history stays private; the company sees a first name, your field and a rate

### Nice to have

- Experience in a similar industry

## Not included

- Work outside the scope written in the brief; extra items are quoted separately

- Anything that needs a signature in your own name unless the brief says so

- A signature or opinion in your own name: sign-off stays with the company

## How you get paid

- The company prepays Deftridge before your first hour, so payment does not depend on a late invoice.

- Deftridge pays you in USD after the company confirms the hours or the deliverable. The payment date is written in your task agreement.

- You work as an independent contractor: you report your own income, and your recruiter sends the statements your accountant needs.

- You never chase the company. Questions about money go to Deftridge.
