Companies, meanwhile, wait months for a hire when what they need is a specialist for five hours a week. Deftridge puts both sides on one page: tasks sized for one to two hours a day, the hourly rate on every task, a named recruiter who writes e-mails rather than calling, and a profile that stays anonymous until you agree. We are paid by the company, 15% on top of your rate.
